Auction House Scam is one of the scams constantly developed to prey on the ignorance of the 10 Million players in World of Warcraft.

After the scammers sold the item for 30 gold, immediately withdraw the buy offer of 40 gold, leaving the victims with a subpar item that theyhave overpaid for.
