Auctioneer Addon is a powerful addon. It stores, tracks, and analyzes data that you can use to make a profit from other players.
I spend a lot of time sitting at the auction house collecting Gold. This is one of the easiest ways to get gold once you know how.
It used to be very hard to learn how to play the Auction house but it's been made increasingly easy with the creation of Auctioneer Addon.
The best people that use this strategy can pull in thousands of gold a day. Most don't because they are sitting on enough gold that isefficient for them.
I personally log into my account for 20-30 minutes a day to make my rounds on the AH. I can make 100-250g a day from this simple process.
Now let us start with the basics. You are going to want to make an AH mule. This is simply a character to leave at the auction house to buyand sell. This can quite easily be a level 1 character that you run to the main city from any of the starting zones.
What you generally do is buy for low and sell for high. There are so many tips in the auction house that I will not be able to cover themhere. In fact, some of them I don't even want to cover because they were created by Derek and he put them in his guide. I don't want to make himmad so I will not be placing any of those in here.
But here's an exclusive tip. What you want to do is start scanning the AH. This will build you a database of items, and their price of whatthey usually list for on your server.
Then you can use “Bottom Scanner” that comes with Auctioneer. It scans the AH for items that are listed at a very low price that you canresell at a higher price for a profit.
Now it's very important to know when you buy and when to sell so you can maximize profits. These are listed and explained by Derek in his Guide.
One thing you will want to keep in mind is that you don't want to keep listing items. You wan them to sell on the first time you list theauction.
When you start out you will want to stick to items that have no listing fee's or cheap listing fee's. This mainly falls under the category of“Enchanting materials”.
Enchanting supplies give you no overhead or generally a “fee” for listing. So as long as you are picking up deals it's relatively riskfree.
Derek actually used the AH to bring in over 100,000g that he used to sell to gold selling companies. He did this over time on up to 8different servers.
