The Hides from Skinning is needed by multiple professions such as Leatherworking, Tailoring and even Blacksmithing. The best place is where it is necessary for the players to kill enemies or creatures for a quest. This is where you can skin a lot in a small area without having to spend time fighting. Where can you find these places?
When you get to higher levels, you will find Shardtooths just about everywhere. They drop lots of Rugged Leather (3 Gold per stack) and Warbear Leather (6 Gold per stack). There are places where you can Shardtooths which have higher drop rate. Do you want to know where are these places?
Taking into account the leather, skinning and loot that you can find along the way, you can make about 40 Gold per hour from these guys.
Herbalism
Our plan here is to sell the Herbs gathered -- not to make potions as you need to learn how to do that.
Herbs like Plagueblooms can be sold for about 8 Gold per stack. A stack of Ghost Mushrooms can be sold for about 20-25 Gold! Other high end herbs like Gromsblood and Dreamfoil can sell for about 12 Gold per stack! You can gather up to a TON of Gold in a short amount of time.

Fishing
At first Fishing may seem to be a waste of time. However you will soon learn that Fishing can actually gather a lot of gold and make you money.
One way is to fish for pearls like the Black Pearls and Gold Pearls. You can sell them for a good amount of gold: 10 Gold per stack for Black Pearls and 20 Gold per stack for Gold Pearls.
The other nice thing about Fishing is that it is something you can do whenever you are near water and are waiting for something such as the boat to show up or to meet some party members.
